The Global Awakening

For one to understand how true freedom is found, one must first understand how the shackles of oppression are bound.

Police and media help with oppression of free speech.

I want to talk about protesting and the shocking revelations I have come across recently and what that means in our so-called democracies of the modern world.

If you watch a mainstream news story on protesters, if it actually makes it to the news that is, then you will soon realise that most protests are demonised if they are anti-establishment which itself means you don’t agree with current governmental and corporate policy. This is in essence what protesting is about, not agreeing with what you see around you.

But even if it is a just cause and in the peoples interest to know and protest it, you may very well see the one-sided reporting always trying to discredit the protesters in anyway they can, this is not by chance it is a calculated assault on anyone who puts up a fight to the current system.

In most cases they link the protesters to violence, but not to the police tactics which cause the violence, like kettling and under cover police in plain cloths infiltrating crowds and causing damage to property, this in turn gives the riot police their reason to crack down on the whole protest. Because of 2 or 3 individuals who have no reason to be in the protest but to cause trouble and in so doing hindering freedom of speech by sabotage of a peaceful protest.

Kettling, also known as containment or corralling, is a police tactic for the management of large crowds during protests. It involves the formation of large cordons of police officers who then move to contain a crowd within a limited area. Protesters are prevented from leaving the area for several hours; as a result, detainees can be denied access to food, water and toilet facilities for a long period. Sometimes all or some of those kettled are mass-arrested. In some countries the tactic has led to legal challenges on the grounds of human rights violations.

The video is one of thousands of examples of this oppressive technique.

In most cases if you block a group of people in for hours, refusing them any food, whilst squashing them into hundreds of other people, then it’s going to get very dangerous when those people find their rights are being violated. Not only the rights violations, the violence inflicted upon them, but they are there to protest and exercise a freedom we are supposed to be blessed with in a democracy.

Kettling tactics serve only the function to cause mass panic by protesters and then lead to violence or backlashes as people are wanting to leave. What happens when you corner a animal? they lash out in fear.

But as this happens and gets broadcast to millions of people, you wont hear the protesters side of the story, you will hear that the protesters got out of hand so the wonderful police had to step in and use the kettling tactic, not mentioning the fact it was the kettling tactic that caused the violence and not mentioning the fact that police infiltrators in the crowds caused the damage.

An example of police brutality and stupidity, police starting the violence first in a bid to provoke the protesters into self defense.

So the demonising tactics the media use coupled with the police aggravating and using violence, can only lead to 3 things, protesters being demonised in the media, the cause that they are fighting for being demonised, and the mass arrest of the innocent protesters. Again putting a bad image in peoples minds and justifying a police state to those who watch the 3 minuets of hate we call mainstream news.

So what does this mean for our “democracies”? it means it is a serious blow to our freedom to protest with no hindrance by outside parties. This is the stuff our so-called fee press bangs on about in other countries peoples right to protest yet, as always they are hypocrites of the highest degree just like the governments.

Do as we say not as we do mentality.

This is a massive blow to the right to protest, this is a massive blow to our freedom of speech and this is a massive blow to the police who are dumb enough to think doing this would be justified by anything, shame on them for being ignorant and shame on the ones who knew exactly what they were doing was enforcing oppression.

This happens where ever there is a protest with the capability to change anything in the current system, setting the precedent for and the conditioning of the police to use the tactics on any protest they are told to quell in the future.

Spread the word people, if many people wake up to the truth then, they inturn can wake up many more to the sad state of our so-called democracies.
